This is a biography of Clayton Skinner, who served in the U.S. Navy during World War II from 1944-1946. Skinner was made a carpenters mate, and achieved the rank of carpenters mate 3rd class. Contains a summary of Skinner's military experience during the war. He was stationed near Okinawa, but at the end of the war was stationed at Truk Island. Also discusses his experiences with Japanese prisoners of war, home life on the farm, and his family.
